How does it work ? In order to automatically upload audio files with metadata into media asset management (MAM) systems like Dalet or DigaSystem, MetaPlug Broadcast uses a "watch folder". The "watch folder" is a folder on the MAM server and is permanently monitored. A new audio file uploaded to the "watch folder" using MetaPlug Broadcast is automatically recognized by the MAM system. The MAM system reads the metadata created by MetaPlug Broadcast and imports the new audio file including the metadata into its database, making it available in the broadcast workflow.

CompatibilityMetaPlug Broadcast writes metadata currently compatible with Dalet, DigaSystem and d'accord. Metadata formats compatible with other media asset management systems can be added upon request. Please contact us.

Standalone Mode MetaPlug Broadcast can function in standalone mode, too, allowing users to use MetaPlug Broadcast outside of a Pro Tools environment. Users can upload audio files directly from their desktop using drag and drop. Users of editing applications with "outbound drag 'n' drop" capability from the "Bin", "Pool", "Timeline" or "Project" , can drag and drop audio files directly from their editing software to Metaplug Broadcast.
